AmpliSi is developing the next generation of battery materials through advanced porous silicon anode technology. We are focused on overcoming the limitations of conventional graphite anodes and enabling batteries with greater energy density, longer life and improved performance.
Our approach combines materials science and scalable manufacturing to turn abundant silica into high-performance silicon anodes, helping make the benefits of silicon practical for the rapidly growing battery market.

AmpliSi has developed a patented, low-temperature and silane-free process for producing porous silicon anodes from silica. Designed with scalability, safety and cost in mind, our technology is compatible with existing battery manufacturing and has the potential to accelerate the adoption of silicon in next-generation batteries.

Gwen is a materials and process development specialist with expertise in silicon-based anode materials. She combines expertise in materials science and advanced synthesis to translate innovative silicon technologies from laboratory development to commercial-scale manufacture.
She leads AmpliSi’s porous silicon technology development, scale-up and innovation.
